I'm really impressed how different these Alambiques are. This one is quite different from canamazo and Perro de Agua. More red fruit on the nose, like cherry maybe, raspberry. Some caramel. Pours a little lighter in colour as well than those two. Finish is smoother, less spicy. Caramely. All these Alambiques are pretty unique.

When initially trying this alongside Cañamazo I had a hard time distinguishing them because they are both complex flavor bombs with long finishes that make A-B comparisons difficult. Trying this on its own shows revealed it was lower on brininess and olive notes and higher on the fruits that I often get from funny Jamaicans. This finish might be a little shorter and the nose a little sweeter. This barely edges the Cañamazo in my book, but much like the Clairins, each is its own beast worth keeping on my shelf.
