Tasted at rhumfest Paris. First stand and first tasted rum of the day. This was a deliberate choice, as I didn't want to be disturbed by another rum before this one and be able to get into it. What struck me most was the harmonious whole: there's no chance in this huge blend, it works wonderfully well! My appriorisms were swept away on the very first sip! I managed to pick up some Jamaican flavors at the start and some passing tdl notes. I think this blend will offer an incredible playground for every tasting! A bottle I'd love to have. A friend told me it was the most successful quintessence I've ever tasted.

A nose of tdl with pineapple. Very nice. On the palate, I'm lost, going off in all directions. Tdl at the top, the light bitterness of pineapple and a floral side. A very vegetal side too, which I personally like less (no doubt brought on by younger rums). Quite a long finish on fruit meli melo. Very interesting blend (but as I found the 2022 phenomenal, I'm very demanding with this cuvée 😉 ).
