Dégusté au salon Rhum Fest Paris, notes partielles. Un Fiji plutôt accessible, pas trop fougueux, très porté par l'influence du fût de bourbon, avec des notes de fruits et de vanille. Je le trouvais un peu simple au premier abord mais la finale fraiche et mentholée semble montrer qu'il aura une belle longueur dans de bonnes conditions ;) A retester dès que possible !

Tasting at RF 2025. Intensity of fruity aromas (citrus and overripe tropical fruits) but quite present, lively alcohol. Then, pretty vanilla, the refill barrel expresses itself, freshness of lively spices, peppermint side, a bit of light glue, fermentation. Nice length. Not as "Hampdenian" as the 2001 vintage (Rock and Rhum, Flag, Spirit Gallery, Plantation V&B).
