Rum Shark Army (Venezuela Single Cask Selection) 2009
Cask strength here doesn't mean harsh — the 59% carries real sweetness rather than fighting it. Think a bigger, hotter Pampero Aniversario: wood, vanilla, dried tropical fruit, and a sherry-driven sweetness that shows up mid-sip. What reads as roasted nuts on the nose turns into coffee bean and dark chocolate on the palate, and that bitter cocoa lingers. A few members found it sweet for the strength.

Review by Martin Švojgr
Kdo hledá silnější rum a nemusí úplně technické tóny a baví ho hořká čokoláda spolu s trochou dubového sudu a sušeného ovoce + sherry, ten se tu najde.

The taste is definitely full, sweet and great for begginers. The cask taste is pretty strong. But - you feel a huge taste of liquer in the rum. Sweet and cherry liquer...
