#5940 08.11.2025 Having an online tasting with old friends covering, Denmark, Singapore, New Zealand and China. Hopefully we will all meet up in the beginning of the new year. Surprisingly good release at an affordable price tag. I rarely pick up watermelon but on this one I can.

The nose and palate of this rum are very unique in comparison to any other rum I’ve had. It is a very strong watermelon candy with some wood and spice notes on the back end of the palate. The only thing I wish it had was a longer finish. I highly recommend trying this rum if you get the chance.

Poured from a bottle that's been open for ~1 year, and is ~80% full. Very good and unusual rum, with its well-known watermelon flavors. Underneath the melon is notes of fragrant wood, earthy tones, other fruit, and the vegetal distillate character I get with Alambique Serrano's unaged releases. Turns very peppery and nutty on the finish. Overall, too one-note dominant to be among my favorite AS bottlings, but it definitely has its following out there.

One of the most unique profiles of any distilled spirit I've had. As others have said, watermelon / watermelon jolly ranchers, and other melon notes predominate.
