So blindly I would have classified him 100 percent as a Jamaican. For me, it's specifically classified as a Hampden, although there's something missing. Nice surprise with the high esters from Barbados, I like it very much. Really good as a mixer.

Wow in a Bkind tasting you would immediately think Jamaica here. Lots of esters with glue on the nose. The Barbados notes are very hidden at first, but come with time. On the palate, however, they are fully there, very exciting.

Very exciting glue note and esters, somehow a mixture of Hampden (without the overripe fruit), Uitvlugt and Barbados. Must be compared with the slightly younger one soon....

A very fine 3 year old Wird with a pastry-like structure typical of Barbados: Vanilla, caramel and also fruity: pineapple, banana, tropical fruit...with a nice presence of esters that counterbalance any excess greediness with a slight presence of solvent, glue and a slight leathery side. The palate is similar to the nose but with a spicy side that adds an extra dimension to this rum, a favorite of Rhum Fest Faris 2025.

Blind definitely has a clear tendency towards Jamaica. After a few seconds, however, the true origin comes out a little. Not particularly complex, but I like the mixture of the ester notes and the sweetness that follows. The finish is a little too sharp and bitter.

I really like this new profile, fresh estery notes with tropical fruits, a hint of vanilla. On the palate, acidity meets fruit basket, which then blends into sweetness with creaminess. The finish is nice and the alcohol is well integrated. Top.
