One taster called it "like a desert" — smooth, dry and heavy on the wood. Fifteen years in oak have tamed this Martinique agricole into something silky: dried apple, hay, vanilla, spice and a nutty, slightly coffee edge. Several find it lovely; a few think the oak buries the fruit and leaves it a touch plain. Very gentle at 42%.

Lovely expression for a 15 year old rum. A lot of oak from nose to finish and I love it. Less fruity but more Agricole like and slightly dry with a silky finish. Enjoying this rum again today and I really like it.

Very fruity vanilla nose for an Agricole! Besides wood, spices and chocolate, so very good and complex. In the mouth, unfortunately, unspectacular for me and typically dry spicy with some fruit and leather. In the finish roasted coffee, spices and other tart notes. Whether this is worth the somewhat high price, I think not.

Agricole meeting and tasting with Kevin in Blåvand, Denmark Compared to the Clément XO Private Cask, this one is much better matured and offers much more body and is much more pleasant. Woody vanilla notes on the nose, agricole character on the tongue, which combines very pleasantly mineral and vegetal and is pleasantly mild

When I had an opportunity to try another Clément, I could not to say no. Aroma is pretty gentle (well for agricole), I noticed a honey, lot of apples, some herbs/flowers, wood and little bit coffee tones (this was really nice). Taste is very very gentle, smooth and dry. I noticed som dried fruit (apples/apple juice but dry), hay, spice, caramel, wood and little bit of nutt taste. Finish is not that long but it is very nice, warmy and little spicy. To be honest I prefer Clément from 2002 more but this one is also really great sample how and why some agricole rums are great.

Compared to its brothers from the same region, I find it bland. The barrel aromas are elegant but the fruitiness is too discreet. A bit like a woman who has aged too much and lost her charm...

Very pleasant, even if the nose and palate are very classic, the whole thing is very well done, the wood is well present but not unpleasant and the finish is long and generous. A few more degrees would have been welcome 😜
