Whisky'n'More Hattingen March 2026. So, there are still a few reasonably decent rums here. This one is relatively spicy and woody, but the Cognac cask also comes through quite well.

#7242 29.08.2026 Tasted at the German Rum Festival 2026. Pretty good rum with a very nice price tag in my mind. It got better as I warmed it in my hand. My quick notes while tasting. Light, sweet, spice, caramel, wood, roasted, tannins.

Very nice nose with plenty of vanilla and caramel as well as moist notes like apple and pear. Overall the rum declines from the nose onwards. The nose is, in my opinion, an 8+. On the palate then less of everything and a slight grassiness. On the finish, cheeky messengers join in.
