Rum from Flensburg. Since the city has a rather long-standing connection to rum, I find it a pity that it has led to so little (apart from a few limited releases). This reminds me a lot of the cheap Pott Rum, also from Flensburg. Wouldn't be surprised if the content is largely the same.

Light rum. Well suited for entry into the world of drinking neat. Good value for money. Nice color. Light raisin tone, as well as nice fruity tones popular with older ones. Soft and mild.

Re-tasting the Braasch Klassik from Flensburg. A rum from my early days that I now have to give a few points less. Poorly integrated alcohol and an unpleasant bitterness and fuzziness in the aftertaste. Its siblings will also face a re-tasting or new tasting tonight.

This is thin stuff! Somehow there is really no taste present. Plus poorly integrated alcohol, which is present in the nose despite only 40%. On the palate watery and yet bitter-puckery. At least not overly sweetened, so it gets a few more points.
