Erinnert in der Nase an Savanna. Schöne Röstaromen in der Nase und am Gaumen. Sehr angenehme Trinkstärke. Toller Sipper!

Deutlich zu verdünnt, was dem Rum spürbar an Ausdruckskraft nimmt. Aromen wirken verwässert und flach, es fehlt an Struktur und Tiefe. Parallelen zu Mhoba, ebenfalls aus Südafrika, sind kaum erkennbar – dort zeigt sich deutlich mehr Charakter und Wiedererkennungswert. Insgesamt leider wenig überzeugend.

Ungewöhnlicher Rum aus Südafrika der intensiv aber dennoch trocken und angenehm nach Limettenschale, Zimtrinde und Holz schmeckt. Der Abgang und die leichte überreife Fruchtigkeit erinnern ganz dezent an Savanna rums. Eine schöne Abwechslung zu mhoba, wenn auch der Alkoholgehalt etwas höher sein könnte!
