Saint James Nectar du maître de chai
Sip this after dinner, not before it — it drinks like a sweetened dessert pour. Saint James agricole gets steeped with prunes and bourbon vanilla, so you get plum, caramel, vanilla and a little chocolate over damp wood. Most tasters call it very sweet, even syrupy. One member sums it up: more "liqueur de rhum" than a dry agricole, but easy and pleasant.
- Plum and vanilla
- Easy to drink
- Soft, round texture

Aggregated from 19 community reviews.
Very sweet, prune-vanilla agricole dessert sipper People agree it's tasty but very sweet — prune, vanilla and caramel over soft wood. Several see it as a dessert liqueur rather than a classic agricole; one found it too syrupy.

#5702 28.09.2025 Day two of the Whisky Live 2025, which this year looks better organized/arranged inside. This is a very sweet rum, extremely sweet actually. The wood is well hidden in the sweet notes of plums and prunes with vanilla and some light nutts.
