Another of the nice rums in the tasting today A really nice 37 year old with a lot of coffee notes. The colour is all natural and no added sugar either. An amazingly good rum with a bit of a price tag, but still well within the value of the quality offered. Can be hard to get your hands on, so if you get the chance, grab it
extrem rund für 37y tropical aging... geile Nummer. absoluter Ausnahme Panama Rum! im blind tasting könnte man den schnell Mal mit Demerara verwechseln. Hintenraus bekommt er ne sehr abgefahrene, leicht bittere Note nach Maggikraut und Minze und altem Sherry.
Sehr vollmundiger und komplexer Rum, dem mein sein Alter positiv anmerkt. Schöne würzige Fass-Aromen, der Geschmack von getrockneten Früchten und Noten von Kakao sind nur ein kleiner Teil des Geschmacksspektrums. Möglicherweise gibt es komplexere Rums diesen Alters, aber allein aufgrund der Verfügbarkeit lohnt sich dieser Rum! Edit: Beim zweiten Probieren überraschend kräuterig. Insgesamt aber etwas unausgewogener als der Rum-Club Panama, der mit einem Jahr weniger deutlich mehr Tiefe mitbringt. Punktet dann aber wieder im Abgang, die getrockneten Pflaumen klingen lange nach!
