31.08.2025 Retasting at the German Rum Fest 2025. --------------- #5368 03.06.2025 Running a few samples at home, while listening to some EDM from Dr. Spook. Nose Fresh, round, light wood, vanilla, orange, light floral, grapes, light leather. Palate Oily, light wood, faint roasted, balanced, orange, light floral, vanilla, banana, light dry, faint herbal. Finish Long, light dry, banana, faint herbal, light berries, spice, faint floral. Empty glass Chocolate, light caramel, light medicinal, faint berries.

Lovely delicate Mount Gay. Heavy on the yellow fruits. Light toffee/caramel/floral notes. Tasted on Whisky Rum aan Zee 2025. Would love to try again.

Ungewöhnlich floral und blumig für einen mount gay, eher gelbe Früchte und leicht pflanzlich. Das Cognac Fass kommt definitiv voll zur Geltung. Lässt sich insgesamt sehr angenehm trinken aber haut mich nicht vom Hocker.

Verkostung auf dem German Rum Festival 2025. Schöner Blend, weich vollmundig mit dem klar zu identifizierenden Mount Gay Profil. Sticht aber nicht heraus. Der aufgerufene Verkauspreis steht dazu in einem schlechten Verhältnis

Very nice expression out of MG. The cognac cask did some good work here enhancing the MG profile with some additional fruits on the nose and palate. Feels way more mature compared to its young age. While I like this very much, pricing is a bit high.
