Most helpful positive review
Beautiful Bellevue beautiful citrus and honey notes. Very drinkable and slightly smoky, reminiscent of whisky. Also some cherry, black tea, kumquat and leather saddle with black pepper and generally very balanced and complex.

A great nose, I like it very much, the palate doesn't quite come close, it's a little too spicy/peppery for me. All in all, an interesting rum.

For a French rum, hardly green, very spicy and a bit sweet. Not very French at all and very balanced. Intense and complex.

Beautiful classic 1998 Bellevue. Not the strongest of the batch for me, but as a lover of the Damoiseau profile you will get your money's worth here.

On the nose an intense, hard to describe sweet scent with light spice hints. In the glass slightly oily and a light amber color. On the tongue rather watery with a sharp edge. Diluted with some water, notes of cinnamon, tobacco, old paper, and spicy peach finally emerge. The finish is even more complex with flavors of cocoa, cinnamon, caramelized fruits, apricot, mango, and a certain spiciness.
