WTF2 Explosion 59%: "Unaged" blend of Grand Arôme Galion and High Ester Jamaica. Both aged for a year in vats and then matured for three months in terracotta amphorae. The assembly is then rested two months before bottling. With an ester rate of 833 g/Hlap and more than 2150 g/Hlap of volatile compounds. Less than 150 bottles. On the nose first very gluey, but quickly develops notes of olives, light vinegar and tropical fruits, mainly pineapple, bit estery, it is also quite fresh and bit floral, all this accompanied by quite a strong menthol. The taste copies the nose quite well with fruity, sweet-soury notes, light glue, the menthol note is however absent. But overall the taste seems to me quite flat and subtle although the alcohol is integrated well.
