Another rum too complex for the long night of tastings but it hit the Caroni notes I’d hoped for. The industrial notes were present throughout and well balanced by some bright fruity notes like hard strawberry candies.

Nose is very potent. Alcohol heat, but also some industrial vibes. Char grilled chicken? Some sort of carbon cooked protein. Fruity pebbles. Lots going on. Taste has some alcohol heat, but not a lot considering the ABV. Big fruit juiciness on the finish. Strawberry. Lasts a while. Not getting much industrial harshness on the taste. It's just beautifully fruity. Like a gusher bursting with sweetness. Wow, I totally get the hard strawberry candies on the finish like one other viewer said. I never would have put that in to words. I know when I first bought these bottles, and opened one, I was disappointed. Caroni was supposed to be industrial bombs, but this is fruity AF. Earlier in my rum journey, but I think it's also opened up in the open bottle some. Shoe knows what a good value equates to, but I'm glad I have 3 of these bottles, despite the price.
