Was the best Agricole Blanc that I’d tasted when I first tasted it and it’s still one of the best. The nose is fresh and round with aromas of fruits and spices. At the palate it’s still round but also savory and rather complex with flavors of fruits and spices.

A white to always have on hand... A beautiful sweetness that shows a cane of superb maturity. This cane brings us a nice freshness (Menthol / Citrus) with fruits (Prunes / Tropical / Dried fig). Some spices wander to add a bit of pep but the big vegetal side (Cane / Hay / Earthy / Green / Sap) is still in the foreground. The alcohol could be a bit better integrated and finesse is not this rum's strong point but for the price it's extremely honest and I don't ask for more... It's really as I said a rum to always have in your bar, it's very versatile and very good!

An unaged Agricole, they all don't differ much in taste. Sugarcane is clearly recognizable here, otherwise this is also a very, very green rum, grassy, vegetal floral and fresh.

#4697 12.04.2024 Relaxing after a very intense week at work. Nose Fresh, fruity, citrus, light melon, vegetal, light mineral, light mint. Palate Fresh, round, citrus, light mint, spicy, light floral, light vegetal. Finish Medium to long, spicy, fruity, faint floral, light mint. The empty glass has some vanilla, herbs and faint smoke.

Smells like a rose. On the palate, the rose shows its spines and comes dry with quite a punch. Actually reminds more of Obstler than Agricole. I find the finish to be a herbaceous mix of pepper and eucalyptus. The aftertaste lingers on the palate for a long time. As Ti-Punch like a spicy sauna infusion.

On the nose, right after the cane, I immediately smell quite notable rose garden scents. On the palate, it stings the tip of the tongue and warms the palate on contact... It's strong, there's a bit of fire. The cane comes through and the astringency of green pepper.

Wow, for an unaged Agricole, this one brings a lot! It smells at first like standard, grassy notes with slightly fruity aromas, a bit of citrus and juicy summer fruit. On the tongue it starts then, with so much spice and punch I didn't expect. Peppery, slightly meaty, spicy and mouthwatering delicious! In the aftertaste, Agricole again - but an interesting overall package for a modest price!

The nose is finer than the "normal" Bielle Blanc. More in the fruit basket on the palate than just citrus fruits and sweeter. Spicy on the finish, with a slight hint of eucalyptus. I find the Belle Premium Blanc somewhat tastier than the normal Bielle Blanc and can't quite understand the poor ratings so far, unless the price difference has been factored into the ratings.

Not sure if it's really the right RumX Id. Extremely exciting in terms of smell and taste: doesn't smell like Agricole. Rather very spicy, rooty and a blend of cut flowers and notes of wood glue. Taste: The wood section of the DIY store comes to mind: wood shavings and freshly cut wood. As Ti Punch: tastes like sauna infusion :)

Superb base expression. One of my favorite agricoles, it's a shame it's not available in the USA. Delicious and insanely approachable for the abv and quantity of flavor. The most distinctive note to me is rose or really rosewater, but there's a ton of classic Agricole flavors, brine and grass through to passionfruit.
