Aquavitae Mülheim October 2025. It's coming to an end, unfortunately there are many rums here that haven't been added to the app yet. This one is also quite sweet, vanilla, caramel, and chocolate are noticeable, but too sweet for an 8+ rating.

#6450 08.03.2026 Time to run through the samples I brought home from Whiskymessen in Kolding yesterday. Like most of these releases, this one is also sweet. This one has fruits and very light tobacco notes on top of coffee and honey.

The Quorhum Orígenes is a wonderfully smooth, dark sipping rum. Caramel, vanilla, and dried fruits meet chocolate, toffee, and spicy oak. On the palate, it's velvety and distinctly sweet, with cinnamon, nutmeg, and a touch of wood providing the necessary counterbalance. I especially like the dark chocolate side in the long finish. Not a rum for fans of dry cask strengths, but a wonderfully cozy digestif with a real feel-good factor.
