I can best summarise this as concentrated banana rocket fuel. The nose is dominated by high octane banana notes mixed with some pineapple, woody and hay. These all come through on the palate and other notes are introduced- a sweetness, vanilla, baking spices, leather, black tea. The banana drops off in the finish and it is the black tea that carries alongside a lot of tingling on the roof of my mouth.

This for me is an intense ester led experience The over ripe banana is quite profound on first nosing and leads into pineapple and a buttery almost toffee scent with a touch of oak The same notes mostly carry over to the taste also. I get done saltiness, although fruity it isn’t too sweet and there is a nice sour note too The texture is oily and rather creamy I get a lingering pineapple and toffee on the finish I’m enjoying it quite a lot

Read full review →The finish on this is long and warming with lots of vanilla and milky tea with a hint of chocolate. It's fades out nicely and you are often a bit too ready for another pour...... Easy going and easy drinking but not without sufficient depth to impact on the flavourful...
