Sipped neat it drinks far smoother than 58.2% has any right to — several tasters call the alcohol "vraiment bien intégré," rounded off by three years resting in steel tanks. Fresh sugarcane runs start to finish, with lime, a peppery grassy edge and a distinct pointe of anise, closing on a light salty minerality. A punchy Martinique blanc that also shines in a ti' punch.

And as the third to last, an unaged Agricole, which doesn't really fit with the rums tasted so far, but is still pretty awesome. A very vegetal rum, with recognizable notes of sugarcane, grass, olive, and tomato. Very grassy, fresh, and tasty.

Good organic agricole rum. It has the merit of a high alcohol content of 58.2° which remains very well integrated thanks to 3 years of stirring in stainless steel tanks. In addition to usual markers like cane and citrus, you find a bit of anise and a very slight saltiness.

#5589 23.08.2025 Gotten 8 new samples from a friend to test. Heavy trance is playing on Spotify. Nose Fresh, sugarcane, fruits, light olive, faint tomato, light herbal, light mint. Palate Fresh, oily, sugarcane, citrus, light mint, light floral, light mineral, light anise. Finish Medium to long, sugarcane, light floral, citrus, light anise, light olive. Empty glass Anise, citrus, sugarcane, light herbal, light olive.

This white agricole was brewed for a very long time and the result is there. Despite the 58+ degrees of alcohol, it's very smooth. In fact, the fruitiness also stands out more. Under 40€, it has a remarkable quality-price ratio!
