Romdeluxe La Favorite Wild Series Rum No. 63 MMLF 2017
Best sipped neat with a little rest in the glass, this is a full-on agricole trip: sugarcane juice, olives, salt and a mess of green herbs and flowers. One taster called it "a völlig wilder Agricole" — wild plants, olive, floral, with a sweetish, herbal finish. At 65.4% the heat is well tucked in, though it still stings a touch. A few found the profile a little bland.

Well, I like this Agricole. Has the typical vegetal and floral notes on the nose, also grassy, sugarcane and Agricole are recognizable. On the palate then besides floral and vegetal also earthy and herbal.

Agricole rums for a change. On the nose: Sugarcane juice dominates with hints of floral and olive notes. After sitting in the glass you get more vegetal, agricole notes. Taste: Heavy on olives, salty, sweetness from the sugarcane, vegetal. Mouthfeel is kind of roasted. Overall its quite balanced. High abv is integrated very well in this rum. Finish: Herbal, citrus and minty notes. I could recognice the La Favorite profile in this rum. For me, the taste profile was quite bland and so this rum didn't really work for me

Northern Lights Meeting July 2025 Nice, peppery Agricole. Not bad.
Review by Dr.Django
This Rhum is a completely wild Agricole trip. Initially a bit sharp, various wild herbs, plants, olives and flowers of all kinds come to the fore on the palate. The finish is sweet and relatively long. A crazy piece!

A mid-aged Agricole from La Favorite, completely continental but with a solid %%. Nose: The alcohol is manageable, sweetly vegetal and floral with a mineral note that reminds me a bit of chalk. Honeydew melon and pickled artichoke at opposite ends, plus pumpkin, fennel, and chamomile. Sweetened chamomile and sweet, fermented plant juice. It all sounds kind of underwhelming, but it’s anything but unpleasant, even rather interesting. 7.8 Palate: Herbs, vegetal, green and floral, but also slightly sweet. Thyme, basil, and fennel dominate, starting salty, followed by nutmeg and ending with caraway. A hint of geranium with a touch of anise at the back. Not bad at all, but not a relaxed pour either. 7.6

La Favorite, as Kim confirmed. On the nose, it still comes across quite youthful (despite the 7 years of aging). Green bell pepper, green pepper, fresh, nutmeg, candied, citrus fruits. On the palate, fennel, nutmeg, Ricola herbal candy, medicinal, menthol, grassy. On the finish earthy, green vegetables, cellar potatoes. Most similar to RumClub Ed. 19.

Erinnert etwas an nicht-rauchigen Mezcal. Sehr erdig und pflanzlich, fast schon speckig im Geschmack. Mit Wasser geht es noch mehr in Richtung Mezcal und sogar in Richtung Teer. Eine interessante Abfüllung.

La Favorite. Nice aged Agricole profile. Enjoyable but no very standout features to this one.
