Seasoned agricole and Demerara fans who love ultra-concentrated, dark-fruity profiles with menthol, black tea and heavy oak at moderate cask strength.
Beginners, anyone sensitive to intense oak/bitterness or those who dislike floral-violet, menthol and potentially dosed, very sweet-feeling rums.

Wow! The fruit practically jumps right into your nose. Cherry and cassis describe it very well. But alongside that, there's a depth. Vanilla, caramel, tobacco. Great. Saying it's complex is almost an understatement. In the mouth, the wild—or in this case harmonious—ride continues. Along with the all-encompassing fruitiness comes a menthol kick. Intense and deep. Plus recurring hints of caramel, vanilla, tobacco, leather. Really impressive.

Wow! Was für eine Granate! Und was für eine wunderschöne dunkle Farbe mit langen und dicken Schlieren die sich am Glas entlangziehen... An der Nase intensive Noten an der Nase von Sauerkirschen, schwarzen Johannisbeeren, etwas Minze, Thymian, sowie dunkle Schokolade und Leder und viel Einfluss von Eichenholz. Geschmacklich dann eine angenehme Süße und Säure die an karamellisierte schwarze Johannisbeeren erinnert. Abgerundet mit etwas Minze und Lavendel, sowie Orangenschalen-Abrieb. Im Abgang etwas kräftige bittere Schokolade, Tonkabohne und angenehme Tannine vom Eichenfass. Süß-sauer, dezent bitter und würzig, unfassbar schwer, dick und ölig konzentriert und mit einer wahnsinnigen Eleganz und Vollmundigkeit am Gaumen. Ich hab wirklich selten so eine Dichte Komplexität am Gaumen erlebt. Mit Abstand einer der besten Tropfen den ich jemals im Glas hatte, danke für den Split an Alex und an Rob für die Empfehlung! Meine Erwartungen wurden mehr als erfüllt! 😍😍😍 Erinnert unfassbar stark an eine richtig gute Creme de Cassis mit dieser super geilen süß-sauren karamellisierten Aromatik!🤩

9,4:On the nose, a top agricole with sugarcane, minty, vegetal with thyme, roasted oak and notes like cocoa, perhaps dark chocolate, roasted nuts, spicy, tons of various fruits like dried currants, prunes, red fruits with sour cherry, hints of coconut, citrus fruits, bump into our nosetrils...so round and balanced.👌 On aeration, the sugarcane becomes flowery, earthy, new wave of fruits join like raisins, dried apricots and figs, black currants, some leather and allspice. 9,1:On the palate, the attack is delicious with sweet sugarcane honeycomb, grassy, minty, flowery with lavender, later black tea, eucalyptus, slightly mineral, various fruits like dried figs, apricots, yellow fruits, citrus with orange peel, black currant, later dark berries and bitter orange, as the oak is roasted with caramelized burnt sugar, cocoa, tonka bean, dark, when the rum is well oxidized, even milk chocolate, spicy with vanilla. 9,2:The finish is very round, long, dry, full bodied, concentrated, delicious, with notes from the palate lingering on forever...😋.

Ich fress 'nen Besen, wenn dieser Rhum nicht trotz des atemberaubenden Preises durch die (Bewertungs-)Decke geht. Der ist einfach unfassbar gut. Ich als "Bauerngaumen" schmecke natürlich nicht so viele feine Sachen raus wie crazyforgoodbooze, aber ich kann seiner Bewertung fast in allem zustimmen, vor allem, was die Dichte und Qualität betrifft. Nur, dass ich hauptsächlich Tee rieche und schmecke, ist bei mir anders. Der beste Rum, den ich seit langem getrunken habe. Ein Meisterwerk. Proof me wrong.

Endlich hab ich paar cl ergattern können... Vielen lieben Dank an dieser Stelle an Rob ... dann bin ich mal gespannt 💥... Unglaublich tolle Nase sehr komplex Agricole kommt sehr gut raus schön Blumige dabei seidenzart und viele leckere Früchte, Leder etwas Kakao es geht quasi endlos weiter ... Herrlich. Am Gaumen steht er der Nase nix nach sehr ähnlich der Nase nur zusätzlich schön Mundraum füllend und ölig. Affengeiler Stoff !!!!

#5897 27.10.2025 Enjoying a few samples after work while watching the new TV series "IT: Welcome to Derry" Nose Intense, wood, light roasted, agricole, sugarcane, light floral, light herbs, citrus. Palate Medium intense, warm, wood, light roasted, dry, peppery, grass, light tea, light ginger, light floral, herbs, citrus. Finish Long and warm, wood, herbs, medium spicy, dry, ginger, citrus. Empty glass Light grass, caramel, ginger, light nutts, light mineral. Needs time in the glass to really settle and open up properly. A very nice and wonderful balanced rum.

hatte ich jetzt nach dem langen Tag mal so aufgemacht, und dann springt es mich förmlich an: was ist das denn! Schon der erste Eindruck: wow! Unglaublich dunkel und fast zähflüssig wie Sirup. Dem eher niedrigen ABV geschuldet, kommt die Dichte und Komplexität sofort rüber! An der Nase Backpflaume, getrocknete Datteln, rote Früchte, Johannisbeeren, Orangenschale, Bohnerwachs, Butterscotch…echt schwer, alles zu fassen. Am Gaumen Leder, Tabak, Karamell, Schwarztee, Fass, Bitterkeit, Tannine, Erdigkeit (bisschen wie bei den Cuban. Zigarren). Ich bin zutiefst beeindruckt, für mich sogar noch über dem Velier Damoiseau 1980 Full Proof! Referenz!

Farbe und Viskosität alleine sind schon toll. Träge schwappt der Rum beim vorsichtigen Schwenken im Glas hin und her! Nase: vordergründig nicht wie ein klassischer Agricole, erinnert mich auch an Guyana Rum. Der Alkohol ist an der Nase kaum spürbar. Es gibt eine MENGE zu entdecken und ich könnte mich hier schon endlos aufhalten. Gaumen: Das ist kein Rum, das ist ein Sirup 😉! Wahnsinn, wie dicht die Aromen sind. Schwere Süße von gebrannten Zucker, nur ganz leicht bitter, schwarzer Tee und so weiter und so weiter... Nachklang: mittellang, trocken, feine Tannine und wieder vielfältigste Aromen! Das ist mit Leichtigkeit der beste Agricole Rum, den ich bisher im Glas hatte. Das liegt vor allem daran, dass der Rum gar keinen Eindruck wie ein üblicher Agricole macht. Außerdem ist die Alkoholstärke perfekt. Das ist wirklich etwas besonderes und ich empfehle jedem diesen Rum zu probieren, wenn sich die Gelegenheit dazu bietet.

What a blast! A fantastic rum on the level of the top demeraras! And prof of my rating for a Reimonenq release (RX4758) at standard abv where I was wondering, how this exceptional rum would be at cask strength. Now I know. If RX4758 already was rated by me at 9.1, this one lifts the bar. I even increase my rating to 9.5. It’s rich, intense, depth, dried fruits, cinnamon, the typical grassy notes linger on the palate endless. A masterpiece!

Rhum Fest Paris 2025 - to be tasted again to confirm my score. Absolutely amazing Reimonenq, tried at the VIF area and it was the clear winner. The profile is the usual of the distillery but it was simply overpowered

Wahrlich, das ist ein excellenter und komplexer Agricole… von der Nase bis zum Abgang überrascht er einen mit immer neuen wechselnden Aromen..einzig ein deutlich wahrnehmbares Veilchenaroma am Gaumen stört mich im Gesamtbild. Das verwehrt ihm eine absolute Spitzenote.

Great agricole, incredibly dense and heavy, with an outstanding mouthfeel and high intensity. Lots of wood and spices, some licorice, the typical perfume note and much more in great harmony. A pleasure.

"Verdammt leckerer Stoff. In der Nase total abgefahrene Dschungelnoten. Hochkomplex, dunkel und schwer. Sehr "Reimonenq". Die Frage ist, ob hier wie bei den alten Demeraras auch etwas mit Fasszusätzen gearbeitet wurde...Die Farbe und sehr ausgeprägte Süße legen dies nahe. Aber definitiv ein historischer, sehr spannender Tropfen."
