Poured from a sample. This is a very nice Pot & Column blend from Alambique Serrano. Quite balanced between the briny distillate and the aromatic spices from the (presumably) maturation influences. Well integrated with no harshness on the palate. Complex and yet approachable, this is one of my favorites from the Krassel brothers.

For the ABV, it isn't too hot undiluted. But the flavors are hidden. A splash of water definitely opens it up. Had the typical AS funk to it, with some barrel on the front of the tongue.

A very medicinal lean for Alembique Serrano, with some eucalyptus and sensha notes. Wood is prominent and, well, woody. There's a touch of the kiwi/watermelon note you sometimes get but it's very subdued and background in this particular rum.
