#6773 09.05.2026 A small online tasting with my friend while talking about which Rum Events to participate in 2027. Prettyd ecent bottling in my mind. Fruity with come caramel and light roasted wood. Rather light and sweet profile.

Sehr runder und super milder Kubaner. Deutlich mehr Frucht wie Pfirsich und Mirabelle im Vergleich zum 7y alten Eminente. Insgesamt etwas zu "dünn" für meinen Geschmack aber insgesamt doch sehr rund und ausgewogen. Für 15-20€ würde ich mir aber dann doch eher den 7er holen.

Nose: pleasant and accessible, with warm, indulgent notes, without excess, and a beautiful overall roundness. Palate: smooth and consistent, faithful to the nose, easy to drink, with a simple but controlled structure. Finish: unfortunately very short, which detracts somewhat from the pleasure and leaves a feeling of frustration. It should be kept in mind that this is Eminente's entry-level product. Having tasted all three, I find the range to be consistent overall, both in terms of progression and price. This Carta Oro, available in supermarkets, offers good value for money, but the overly fleeting finish limits the emotional impact. Rating: 7/10 — just "good."
