How does Nobilis Uitvlugt No. 50 PM 1992 taste?
Elegant, complex old Port Mourant
If you enjoy mature Guyana or Port Mourant profiles, this is a refined, continental take: complex fruit, tea and pencil shavings with firm but not overpowering oak at a serious age.
Beginners, those sensitive to 56% ABV, or drinkers who dislike dry, woody, pencil‑shaving / tannic profiles and prefer clearly sweet or very fruity, low‑oak rums.

Truly an anniversary bottling. Lots of cherry on the nose, along with tropical fruit and some spices. Candied fruit provides the sweetness. A real fruit bouquet of tropical and dried fruits on the palate. Here you can also taste the longstanding wood/barrel influence, but in a pleasant strength. There is also caramel and spices. The finish is again very fruity with light wood notes. Grandiose bottling!

Fresh but still mature. This 32 year old PM doesn't compare to its old school brethren (not by a long shot) ... but it's still quite a nice rum. However, I don't agree with the high scores with a 9 in front - especially in view of the difference to its cousins from the 70s.
Auto-translatedNice choice made for the No.50 I was a little skeptical at first after pouring, as it was quite light in color for the time it had been in the barrel. What I like is the interplay of aromas. The wood is not too dominant, which one would have expected given the storage time. A good companion to the cigar.
