Truly an anniversary bottling. Lots of cherry on the nose, along with tropical fruit and some spices. Candied fruit provides the sweetness. A real fruit bouquet of tropical and dried fruits on the palate. Here you can also taste the longstanding wood/barrel influence, but in a pleasant strength. There is also caramel and spices. The finish is again very fruity with light wood notes. Grandiose bottling!

Fresh but still mature. This 32 year old PM doesn't compare to its old school brethren (not by a long shot) ... but it's still quite a nice rum. However, I don't agree with the high scores with a 9 in front - especially in view of the difference to its cousins from the 70s.

Nice choice made for the No.50 I was a little skeptical at first after pouring, as it was quite light in color for the time it had been in the barrel. What I like is the interplay of aromas. The wood is not too dominant, which one would have expected given the storage time. A good companion to the cigar.

Very impressive Guyana rum from Nobilis. It has an unusually light color for the long storage time, but this does not detract from the taste. Very intense after wood and dried fruit with a long, warm finish.

Unfortunately the taste dissapers in few minutes.

Tasted at GRF2025 Surprised they had a bottle with them to taste. A very interesting rum to be honest, I had expected that the wood would be much more present in the rum, but it was rather underwhelming in that sense. What also surprised me was that there was a very distinct eucalyptus taste, just as you'd expect from Trinidadian rums. All in all, happy that I have tried this rum. It is a (very) good rum, I just had different expectations of it.

The color surprised me. Lighter than expected. The aroma is soft with lots of floral and a bit fruity notes. Light nutty notes. The flavor is versatile. Flowers, plums, the barrel itself, tropical fruits, caramel, and a touch of dry smoky. The finish is spicy with a bite. I don't find it overwhelming. It's even a bit short. Overall, I expected something different/more. It's a good rum with nice notes. But no wow factor.
