Really similar nose to the W&N overproof. Nose is full of funky tropical fruits, pineapple, overripe banana & nutmeg. The palate is briny and mineral. There is an underlying sweetness. The palate lacks the fruitiness of the overproof. Mineral finish. Overall while the nose is close to the W&N Overproof the experience falls very short. There are many worse rums than this at £20-25 but the W&N Overproof is better value at the higher price.

Read full review →This is despite the obvious comparison a very nice pretty funky Jamaican Rum. After a few I'm not sure how noticeable the difference between this and the Overproof would be. Particularly in longer drinks. All in all this is still a very solid good example of Jamaican White Rum.
