Blind, you might not call this rum at all — one member swears it drinks like a mild apple or pear brandy. It's an unaged pot-still spirit: green apple and pear up front, then grass, a mineral-salty edge and even a whiff of green olive. The body's oily, the finish medium and fresh. Interesting to sip, but a couple of tasters felt it's a bit short on character neat.

#5967 16.11.2025 Enjoying some samples after visiting a friend and now watching The Big Bang Theory. Nose Fresh, apple, light mint, herbs, sugarcane, citrus, light mineral. Palate Oily, fresh, apple, light mineral, citrus, light salty, faint olive, light mint, herbs, sugarcane. Finish Medium long, oily, apple, light citrus, sugarcane, light herbs. Empty glass Sugarcane, herbs, mint, fruity. Surprisingly good looking at the price tag 🥃

Frisch und fruchtig im Geruch. Am Gaumen grasig und leicht floral. Salzig eventuell etwas Olive. Pur nicht ganz so meins da mir da etwas Charakter fehlt. Die Version mit 63% finde ich wesentlich besser. Aber im Daiquiri schmeckt er richtig gut.

Sehr gelungener High Esther Rum. Sehr viele Aromen sind präsent. Die 71 vol.% sind schon stark. Ich habe ihn mit etwas Wasser verdünnt auf 50- 60 voll.%. Ein sehr empfehlenswerter Rum!

On the nose fresh and very fruity, green apple, pears, a little cherry, plus grassy-floral and spicy aromas. On the palate grassy, slightly salty and spicy, green olives, only subtly fruity.
