#7112 01.08.2026 Enjoying some samples after attending the birthday of my brothers twins. Listening to some nice tracks on Spotify. A very good rum especially when looking at the price tag. A very intense fresh profile with fruits, spice, sugarcdane and light smoke.

On the nose:Fresh, hay, sugarcane, olives. Peppery notes in the background. Mineral. Little bit of young wood notes. Taste: Fresh, grassy and herbal. Then you get little bit of sugarcane notes. Then the palate changes towards mineral notes while giving peppery notes in the background. Finish:Fresh, menthol/eucalyptus notes notes. Sugarcane notes. Finishes with mineral notes. This is a yearly release and i havent tasted any of the previous releases. Doesn't really stand out as a release, but its solid and balanced release from La Favorite.

Tasted at Rhumfest Paris 2025 right at the start of the event. Really liked this appetizer, it's fresh with a nice cane aroma. I also found some floral and grassy notes. Slightly oily texture. It must make very good ti-punches.
