8,2:On the nose, sugarcane, grassy, hay-ish, vegetal with olive, esters, pungent, rotten strawberry, buttery, nutty, sweet with honeycomb, bump into our nosetrils. On aeration, overripe green, citrus fruits arise, like fruit schnapps, some mushrooms, woody, meaty notes, some medicinal. 8,1:On the palate, the attack is medicinal with esters, pungent, intense with overripe, rotten citrus, green and red fruit like fruit schnapps, sweet sugar cane honeycomb, green, grassy, fresh, vegetal with briny olive, bitter, as the wood is spicy and smoky. 8,1:The finish is medium long, dry, medicinal, chemical, metallic, cane is grassy, green fruits overripe, wood smoky, spicy. Sehr junger, aber überraschend spannender Rum. In der Nase frisches Zuckerrohr, Zitrus, etwas Kräuter und eine spürbare alkoholische Schärfe. Am Gaumen mit grasigen Noten, einem Hauch Würze und dezenter Süsse. Trotz der extrem kurzen Reifezeit wirkt er komplexer als erwartet.

#7158 14.08.2026 Relaxing with a few rums after a slow week at work and a lot of walking. Listening to some nice trance by Avalon, GMS, Funk Tribu and Vini Vici. Very good rum when looking at the price tag in my mind. Intense profile with industrial, olive, salt, fruits, spice and light roasted wood.

Sehr mutig von Nico so ein Brett und so einen speziellen Rum abzufüllen! Nach dem Motto hate it or love it. Ich mag das Galion Profil sehr gerne, aber es ist eben sehr speziell mit der typischen fruchtigen Ester Note aber zugleich Oliven und Salz.

Absolute Ester- und Fruchtbombe, die durch die Lagerung in Süßweinfässern ganz hervorragend eingefangen wurde - (wage-)mutig & dadurch sehr besonders!

Schöne Ester-Granate von Le Galion. Sehr fruchtig, mit Aromen von Birne und Banane. Vielseitig einsetzbar. Sowohl pur (allerdings nur für Fortgeschrittene), als auch im Daiquiri oder um andere Rums auf ein ganz neues Level zu heben.

In der Nase viel Zuckerrohr, Zitrusfrüchte, leicht floral. Am Gaumen fruchtig, leichte Olive, grüne und grasige Noten. Schon einiges an alkoholischen Biss. Mein Fall war er nicht, mit sind "leichtere" Agricole aktuell noch lieber.
