Tasted this rum at the Sweden Rum Fest 2026. It’s first aged for 4 years in a ex-bourbon barrel whereafter it’s finished in a ex-port barrel for 1 year more. It’s bottled at full proof in just 287 bottles. The aroma as well as the taste is complex, elegant, round, sweet, fruity, spicy and woody with scents and flavors of port wine, orange and cinnamon. The finish is rather long.

#5634 30.08.2025 Participated in the Clement Master Class at the German Rum Fest 2025. Yet another expression where the port notes are obvious. There is also a nice orange thought to it and there is a nice natural sweetness in the profile.
