Rum tasted at the GRF in Berlin in 2026. A super aromatic white rum, with a lot of pear fruit in particular. Some vegetal notes and sugarcane. On the palate, it’s also very fruity, the pear is very present like a pear eau-de-vie. The finish is rather short but pleasant.

Extremely intense on the nose. Very sweet scent of totally fermented stone fruit. Quite fruity on the palate but rather towards burnt pears. Some alcoholic taste. Maybe not quite my case but certainly recommendable.

#6538 24.03.2026 Enjoying a set of samples after picking up my wife from work. Watching Grave Mysteries again because I find it really good. First og all a thanks goes to Henrik for supplying this sample. This is a very nice bottling with a punchy profile. The nose is intense and fresh with ester, overripe fruits, banana, citrus and herbs. The palate is warm and fruity with a spicy touch, grass, banana and light apple. The finish is long and peppery with sugarcane, citrus and apple.

Exciting cane juice-based funky Jamaican. Lots of green and yellow overripe fruits like kiwi, honeydew melon, lime, as well as green pepper, brine, and fresh sugarcane plus slightly meaty umami notes. Makes a hugely delicious Daiquiri. Like mixing 50/50 agricole Blanc and unaged funky Jamaica in the Daiquiri. Surprisingly good stuff! Thanks, Oli, for the opportunity! 😊🙌🏼

Unaged Worthy Park with clear, fresh Jamaica aromatics. On the nose fermented fruits, citrus and a light herbal spice. On the palate direct, lively and dry with ester hints, citrus and a touch of pepper. The 54% give good punch without seeming too harsh. Overall a clean, characterful white Jamaica, pleasantly clearly structured but naturally without the depth of a matured rum.

For my 150th review, this is a review of the rarest(so far) rum bottle in my collection. This limited single barrel selection series was bottled exclusively for Skurnik and i believe that its (or was?) only available in select stores at New York. Distilled from 100% Worthy Park estate grown sugarcane juice and distilled on a Forsyths double retort copper pot still. On the nose: This is different than your typical AOC agricole rum. Sugarcane juice, but without grassy or herbal notes. Mineral, oily/briny. Green fruits like green apples and grapes maybe. Not intense on the nose. Taste: Mineral and brines at first. Sugarcane juice sweetens the palate. Green peppers in background. Lime peels. Mouthfeel is little bit thick. Interesting palate. The abv(54%) could be higher for my liking. Finish:Mineral, brines and sweetness from sugarcane juice. Dry. Im happy that i bought this bottle during my New York trip 10/2025 and even without pretasting. Now i need to test how this rum works in Daiquiri. Quite intestesting palate and pleasant to sip but the abv could have been a little higher, because while its a pleasant,easy sipper, its lacks little bit of that punch in it.

Wow! This one definitely lived up to the hype. Super full bodied and somewhere right in between an agricole and an untamed pot still cane juice product like Clairin, Rivers, or something from Mexico. Really strikes a perfect balance with tons of fruit and minerality with just a hint of that brininess. I really hope WP starts making more in this style at a lower price for mixing.

All the funky nose of a long fermentation Jamaican rum, but the palate of something that has been tamed/mellowed by oak (but none of the oak flavors).
