Schotman's Barrel Selection Kozzy Bison Grass Spiced Rum 2025

This is bison-grass spiced rum: floral and heavily herbal on the nose, more green-apple and hay than molasses, with a sweet, sugary palate and a short herbal finish. Bottle Market Bremen Dezember 2025. Also irgendwie kann ich hiermit nicht viel anfangen. Erinnert wenig an Rum. Jedenfalls sehr viele Kräuter in der Nase und leicht floral, am Gaumen auch viele Kräuter und etwas Zucker.

30-08-2025 - Rate 8.5 German Rum Festival Last stop on day was Schotman. We have never heard of it before and he has no dealers in Denmark. But perhaps that will change. We were very surprised by the quality. Al thoug the frist “shot” was this very sweet and floral rum. Nose was floral, herbal and vanilla/sugar. Palate was following the nose pretty good. Very sweet. Short finish with herbs. Joked that I could taste they the Bison had pissed on the grass. Eric had the humor to take it.
