Tasted this Canne Bleu from Dillon during the Whisky Live Paris 2026. Overall it’s a fresh, round, floral, aromatic and balanced AOC Agricole produced at the Depaz distillery in the Dillon stills from blue sugarcane harvested at the Dillon plots. The nose is fruity and spicy with scents of lime, citrus zest, pepper and mint. At the palate it’s sweet, spicy, mineral and fruity with flavors of honey, sugarcane, licorice, mint, a little oilyness and some bitterness. The finish is rather long.

#5859 13.10.2025 Relaxing with a few samples hoping that my upset stomach will come to an end. Nose Fresh, round, sweet, fruity, light honey, sugarcane, light cinnamon, faint mineral. Palate Oily, citrus, sugarcane, faint mint, light honey, medium spicy, light anise, faint grass. Finish Long, oily, citrus, sugarcane, light licorice, light grass. Empty glass Light licorice, citrus, light apple, light mint.
