#7348 22.09.2026 Got a big box of blanc/unaged samples today and I'm just guessing most are goin to be taste and spit rums. Watching Myth Busters at the same time. A very nice Savanna and as usual the HERR price tag is a bit higher than the regular releases. Intense profile with overripe fruits, ester, diesel, glue, spice, olive, leather, salt, mint and a velvey dry finish.

Unbelievable Savanna HERR, which was bottled in 2018 and then matured for 6 years in a stainless steel barrel. Those esters are incredibly sweet and funky but also taste like freshly inserted chewing gum in the mouth. They did well in Singapore with this. For me the best HERR I've had so far and many thanks to Honza Ch. for the sample (I don't know anyone else in the EU who would open this bottle).
