Heimat Distillers Ramero Rum Terra Blanc 2025
The sugarcane here was grown in Germany, not the Caribbean — and the unaged agricole that comes out of it holds up. Expect grass, fresh sugarcane and a briny, faintly salty palate, with apple and pear underneath and a nicely oily texture. Several members reach for it in a daiquiri, where a floral elderflower note turns up. Balanced and pleasant rather than wild.

Der erste Rum aus deutschem Zuckerrohr in Reinkultur… und ich muss sagen, der ist den Jungs von Heimat Distillers richtig gut gelungen..meine Gratulation! An der Nase bis zum Abgang die klassischen Aromen eines guten ungelagerten Agricoles… ich bin gespannt, auf das, was von Heimat Distillers noch kommt. Beim 1. RumX-Meeting konnte ich schon einiges tasten und auch dort waren sehr gute Abfüllungen dabei

Erster Rum aus in Deutschland angebauten Zuckerrohr. Kompliment an die Heimat Distillers für den Mut und die Pionierarbeit. Das Ergebnis in diesem Jahr ist ein Rum voller grüner, floraler Aromen. Am Gaumen deutlich hefiger und getragen vor allem von Salzlake. Toller Erstaufschlag, da freuen wir uns auf den nächsten batch 2026

Also, 8,0 echt korrekt. Hat nicht wirklich was Zuckerrohr zu tun, scheint hier wohl etwas anders zu wachsen :) Aber trotz allemem ein echt guter deutscher Rum. Macht weiter so, das Experiment ist geglückt :)
