This full-proof Rhum Rhum from Marie Galante is dry and spice-touched, not sweet. A few tasters actually preferred the reduced version as "more harmonious," but at 56% this one carries a bit more punch and a long, nutty, earthy finish.

Whisky Live Paris 2025. A fresh, vegetal, fruity nose with woody undertones. Young woods, sour apple, and a salty, spicy side complete the picture. The palate is rather restrained, then the aromas rise, still supported by wood. Lots of vegetal notes, still sour apple, an earthy side and something like black olives, quite surprising and lingering on the finish. A long finish with nuts coming through at the very end.

#5878 21.10.2025 Enjoying some samples after a positive visit to the eye specialist for my diabetes checkup. Nose Light wood, faint roasted, light apple, spice, light vegetal, sugarcane, light mineral. Palate Fresh, light spicy, light wood, faint chocolate, appl, light nutts, light floral, sugarcane, light olive, faint smoke. Finish Medium long, light wood, light floral, light peppery, light chocolate. Empty glass Light floral, chocolate, light nutts, light floral, olive.

Tante aspettative per questo liberation 2024 ma più o meno rimane lo stesso timbro aromatico di quasi tutti i suoi precendenti! Sicuramente un rum davvero ben fatto ma questa volta mi aspettavo qualcosa di diverso, qualche sapore o guizzo in più che mi è mancato! Rimane comunque sempre davvero piacevole da bere!

Un profil grenadine concentrée et vieux bois, avec une attaque douce et gourmande. Le boisé est bien équilibré, relevé d’une légère touche d’acidité qui apporte du peps. Dégusté en fin de journée, surprise : j’ai préféré la version réduite, plus harmonieuse que la Full Proof, malgré ses watts supplémentaires !

Whisky Live Paris 2025 - to be tasted again to confirm score and notes Finally back. There's an unusual almost salty note that surprises me, but then it is 100% RRL. Way better than 2020, the long ageing did not impair the profile. I'll return in this one as soon as it is released
