This one was a surprise. A complex rum yet a rum that's subtle and easy and smooth on the palate. The nose is very fruity with cane and candied fruits and a hint of licorice. The palate is very well balanced as well as complex, yet smooth. Fruity with spices, nuts and leather and a hint of tobacco, yum. The finish is medium to long with spices, raisin and tobacco. Price to quality is pretty good.

Nez très agréable et vraiment gourmand. La bouche ne manque pas de watts comme on peut lire , très gourmande aussi. Longueur moyenne. Un rhum facile et gourmand et pas trop faible comme j'ai pu le lire.

Je n'ai pas tous les jours l'occasion de goûter un rhum distillé avant que je ne sois né... Celui-ci propose un nez très doux. Un boisé net. Des fruits secs et confits. Ça donne très envie. Nez confirmé en bouche avec des fruits confits noyés dans du bois, avec des épices discrètes. Puis, une impression de cuir et de tabac. Ainsi que des effluves beurrées. Très agréable.

Trotz der relativ wenigen Prozent durchaus mundfüllend und intensiv - Trockenfrüchte treffen auf frische Aprikose, dazu schwere Schokosüsse und herbe Würz- und Röstaromen. Schöner Rum, an dem mich primär der aufgerufene Preis stört - da gibt es qualitativ vergleichbare Abfüllungen im deutlich erschwinglicheren Rahmen.

an amazing nose, dried fruits, raisins, plums. Very balanced and smooth. The expectation is high after a while sniffing the rum. There is caramel and vanilla. It looses on the palate. Still dried fruits, the caramel, chocolate. I have to say it is still very nice and balanced, smooth. A perfect digestive. But the expectations have been so high. It just doesn’t match the expectations. Finish is short, au revoir. May be like a date with a beautiful french girl/boy on a cote d‘azur trip. Fantasy, imagination before you enter the hotel room, then so la la, gone.

Die Nase ist wunderbar fruchtig mit leichten Holzaromen. Am Gaumen leider etwas dünn, hier kommen mehr die holzigen Fassaromen durch.

I expected more from this rum.... Throughout its tasting is a bit flat, between vegetal and wood flavors, it hints at a bit of fruit which helps the whole thing!

Un nez énormément porté sur les épices, avec un fond de fruits tropicaux confits et de boisé. Une bouche qui s’accorde avec le nez, avec un côté terreux/tourbé qui se rajoute et prend progressivement le dessus. La finale est longue et donne place à une amertume progressive qui vient progressivement étouffer le côté épicé et fruité.
