Velier Hampden Cristina de Middel LROK (Magnum) 2016
Pineapple, citrus and a touch of cantaloupe sit over young oak and a varnish edge — the recognizable LROK marker, just dialed down. The nose promises depth that the palate doesn't quite repay, and at 60% the alcohol pushes through. Most tasters call it pleasant and well-made, but several say it's the least exciting bottle in the de Middel series.

Velier Hampden Christina de Middel X-Tasting: Low Ester Hampden mit - im Vergleich zu den anderen - stärksten Alkoholeinfluss. Trotz der längsten Lagerung aus meiner Sicht der am wenigsten überzeugende der Reihe.

Naja ein Hampden LROK ohne viel Ecken und Kanten. Meiner Meinung nach jetzt nichts dass wirklich heraus sticht. Kann man trinken, eine Flasche bräuchte ich jetzt nicht unbedingt davon. Der Preis ist ein wenig fragwürdig.

Velier Christina de Middel Collection: LROK 2016: Ein guter Jamaica-Rum. Etwas kräutig und bitter, sonst typische Jamaica Aromen. 7.5 <>H 2017: Schon besser. Das Mark ist schon sehr gut, wesentlich intensiver und adstringenter, sehr fruchtig, Mr. Funk klopft an der Gaumentür. 8.8 HGML 2018: Sehr geschmeidig, viel würziger, holziger und auch komplexer, als die anderen. Tolles seidiges Mundgefühl. 8.8 DOK 2021: Lecker, schön fruchtiger Antritt, danach zerfällt der Rum aber am Gaumen ins Nichts. DOK und ich werden wieder keine Freunde... 7.1 Vielen Dank für die Samples @Skyfly

Erste Verkostung aus dem Sample Set der Serie. Habe die anderen noch nicht probiert, der hier haut mich aber schon mal nicht von den Socken. LROK Marker sind da aber Alles in Allem kein LROK, der mir sonderlich in Erinnerung bleiben wird.

Strahlender Auftritt. Ausgewogener Naseneindruck. Fruchtige Esternoten. Lecker, aber nicht sonderlich vielschichtig. Der Gaumen spiegelt gut den Naseneindruck. Der Alkohol kommt dabei durch. Nach der Frucht einige Würznoten die eigentlich ganz schön in den mittel-langen Abgang übergehen. Durchaus animierend für den nächsten Sip. Insgesamt gesehen prima Rum, jedoch keiner zum Niederknien.

Un hampden sur les fruits exotiques, le bois et quelques esters. Un nez qui promet une belle profondeur, qu on ne retrouve malheureusement pas en bouche. Finale relativement courte. Un hampden correct et agreable, mais pas tres interessant.
