Pour un rhum de 4 ans c est génial. Du nez jusqu'à la finale, Tout tourne autour de I ananas .Malgré un très haut niveau d Ester et 60 ° c est d une facility à boire qui me surprend beaucoup.c est même un peu crémeux. Très jolie finale. On sait où on va et ça me plaît bien.

Ein recht junger DOK von Hampden. Anfangs war ich schon ein wenig skeptisch ob er recht ungezähmt ist. Aber ich wurde dann doch positiv überrascht. Schöne Ester, Tropische Früchte, vorallem Ananas mit einem schönen Lösungsmittel Funk.

Velier Hampden Christina de Middel X-Tasting: Extrem harmonischer DOK der die typischen Marker mitbringt. Neben Estern, Lösungsmittel und bei Tropischen Früchten primär Ananas schmeckt man andere Aromen nur peripher. Mit perfekt eingebundem Alkohol zeigt dieser Rum wie geil DOKs sein können!

Velier Christina de Middel Collection: LROK 2016: Ein guter Jamaica-Rum. Etwas kräutig und bitter, sonst typische Jamaica Aromen. 7.5 <>H 2017: Schon besser. Das Mark ist schon sehr gut, wesentlich intensiver und adstringenter, sehr fruchtig, Mr. Funk klopft an der Gaumentür. 8.7 HGML 2018: Sehr geschmeidig, viel würziger, holziger und auch komplexer, als die anderen. Tolles seidiges Mundgefühl. 8.7 DOK 2021: Lecker, schön fruchtiger Antritt, danach zerfällt der Rum aber am Gaumen ins Nichts. DOK und ich werden wieder keine Freunde... 7.1 Vielen Dank für die Samples @Skyfly

Super High Ester ist nicht mehr mein bevorzugtes Profil … früher hätte ich hier besser bewetet. Dennoch toller, tropisch gelagerter DOK. Viel Lösungsmittel, Ester und tropische Früchte. Am Gaumen viel Ananas, aber auch etwas Banane umd Papaya sowie eine schöne Süße … eher wie bei einem HGML als bei nem DOK.

Typische DOK Intensität, die Aromen verteilen sich schon beim Einschenken im ganzen Raum. Am Gaumen für seine nur 4 Jahre schon ziemlich gelungen, nicht ganz so brachial wie man es erwarten würde. Alkohol ebenfalls schon recht gut eingebunden. Trotzdem merkt man die Jugend etwas, vor allem im Abgang. Ein gelungener Rum, dem noch mehr Zeit im Fass aber nicht geschadet hätte.

Initial smell of banana, caramel, some oak and a little burnt tire. All these elements take off in your mouth. Some sour plum as well. Pours golden. Some copper or metallic taste on the tongue. Nice stuff. Relatively short on finish. Bottle split thanks to xamsx.
