A rum tasted at the WLP. A very dense and concentrated nose of prunes and wood with fruits and vegetal notes in the background. A mentholated palate with quite a bit of depth. A very long finish. An exceptional rum, a kind of bridge between molasses rums and aged agricole rums.

This rum you will have to buy at the destillery i was told by the over of this bottle. Very expensive but also a very good rum. The oak is very prominent from nose to finish without being too dominant. Fruity and lots of wonderful spices. I think I sensed some cardamom but I'm not entirely sure. Wonderful rum but out of my price range.

Oh wow, what a fine drop. Blind, I wouldn't have necessarily classified this as Agricole at first sniff and sip. It's hard to really describe this old bottling, somehow different from the bottlings nowadays. Glad I got to try this.

Magnificent nose, intense without being cloying or too alcoholic. Mouth all in elegance. Not necessarily intense but you don't really know when it ends...

Woody nose of nuts, concentrated, rancio, animal leather. Powerful mouth with fine caramel, fairly light dried fruit, spices cinnamon, clove, finish drops a level but stays long, finish remains quite caramel. Great nose.
