La Favorite La Flibuste Old Cuvee Speciale 1977
Collectors chasing old Martinique agricole are the ones hunting this down — a 1977 distillate given 33 years in oak, and it drinks nothing like a young rhum. Expect prune and dense wood on the nose, rancio and walnut, then a menthol-tinged palate with cinnamon and clove. One taster called it a bridge between aged molasses rums and aged agricole. The finish just won't quit, even at a gentle 40%.

Review by Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰
This rum you will have to buy at the destillery i was told by the over of this bottle. Very expensive but also a very good rum. The oak is very prominent from nose to finish without being too dominant. Fruity and lots of wonderful spices. I think I sensed some cardamom but I'm not entirely sure. Wonderful rum but out of my price range.

Review by Adrien B
Nez maderisé noix, concentré, rancio, cuir animal. Bouche puissant caramel fin, fruit sec assez léger, épice cannelle, clou de girofle, finale tombe d'un étage mais reste longtemps, final ereste assez caramel Super nez
