Tasted in BDF version at WL 2025. Two samples drawn directly from the NRJ barrels. STCE 2019 – 72.4% (Barrel 124). An explosive Long Pond, but still totally untamed. The aging is not mastered, and as it stands, the interest is limited. MBS 2011 – 72.7% (Barrel 19). A stunning Clarendon Monymusk! Intensely fruity nose, energetic palate but with surprisingly good alcohol integration for 72.7%. A very pleasant profile — to watch closely at the official release of barrel 19.
