One taster who's had plenty called it the best Habitation Foursquare he'd tried, and reckoned he wouldn't have guessed it blind. Overripe banana, green apple and light varnish on the nose; the palate turns dry and spiced — nutmeg, burnt caramel, dried plums, bitter oak and roasted nuts. Tasting d. 23.07.2026 With Mr. Daniel Jungberg. RX25076 HV Foursquare 2013 I have to give it another try. I was expecting more tbo. Nose: Light overripe banana, green apple and sweet cider. Light pineapple note, varnish. Light spiced casks. Palate: Komplekse intro, fruit acid, spices light nutmeg, turmeric root some Cognac cask notes, burnt caramel and roasted nuts, herbs. Bittersweet overripe mirabelle. Residual taste with overripe plums, spiced light nutmeg. Light burnt caramel, herbs. Toasted cask, bitter oak. Bitter dark chocolate. Dried fruit like dadel, raisin and plum. Burnt lemon peel, light tobacco, Brazil nuts, hazelnut. Glass: Heavy oak cask, sour cigars. Tasting “In the living room”

Tasting together with F. Kraemmer. D D24.07.2026 Nose on an adventure👃: I sense a complex aroma with tropical fruits. There are green apples, citrus notes, light pineapple, cider, and baked banana. Tongue on an adventure 🥃: I taste fruity acids, citrus, burnt sugar, a bit of vanilla, and there’s something roasted and spicy that I find hard to place! The spicy part reminds me a bit of horseradish. The finish of the story💫: Short to medium finish. Balanced & delicious taste of caramel and dark chocolate!

#1802 10-07-2026 - Rate - 8.4 This is the best Habitation Foursquare I have tasted. It’s not a regular Foursquare. If I had tasted this one blind, I would not have guessed it. I really like this Foursquare profile.

Read full review →So I was really looking forward to this rum because I really like Velier and FS rums. Definitely, the first tasting was a big surprise for me and I was quite unsure about this rum. Young, strong, spirited, not very oaky or smooth.
