Distillerie de Jeanty Planteray Prestige Cellar (LMDW) 2010
Don't let the modest 40.5% fool you — several tasters expected watery and got a flavourful, elegant Haitian instead. Fifteen years (bourbon then cognac cask) rounds off the raw clairin edges: sugarcane, mango, soft spice and a gentle natural sweetness over light oak. One member sums it up as tasting "like Haiti from 60's". Filigree rather than loud.

#5725 28.09.2025 Day two of the Whisky Live 2025, which this year looks better organized/arranged inside. A very nice and well balanced Haiti. Nice fruity and floral notes and some sugarcane and spices. There is also a nice natural sweetness on the palate.

Messetasting Whisky Live Paris. Eindrücke und Bewertung basieren auf unmittelbaren Eindrücken aus dem Tastingglas. Elegante, fast schon filigrane Struktur mit angenehmer Süsse und Fruchtnote.
