Silver Seal Diamond Guyana (Itinéraires) 2002
One taster pegged it as a "nice diamond profile," and that fits: poached stone fruit, licorice and sweet spice up front, with young, fresh-feeling wood rather than something dark and heavy. Tasters note plum, raisin and vanilla, plus a floral lift. The catch a few mention is a light sulfur touch and wood that turns tannic and a bit dominant late.
- Poached stone fruit
- Floral and spiced
- Licorice and anise

How does Silver Seal Diamond Guyana (Itinéraires) 2002 taste?
Aggregated from 19 community reviews.
Fresh, fruity Demerara with tannic oak Well-liked tropically-aged Port Mourant: fresh, floral, fruity and spiced. The common gripes are a faint sulfur note and oak that gets a little too tannic toward the finish.

Whisky Live Paris 2025.

#5801 29.09.2025 Day three of the Whisky Live 2025, which this year looks better organized/arranged inside. A pretty decent release with nice floral and wood notes mixing very well with the spices, chocolate and light sulfur notes.

👃 Wood, sweet spices, fresh, anise, licorice, pencil shavings, aroma of poached fruit (yellow and white), light star fruit, candied lemon, vanilla. 😋 Poached fruit (peach, pear, plum), light combawa, passion fruit, pink pepper, freshness of blond tobacco, dry vanilla, creamy flower honey, light star anise, dryness of chalk, Reims pink biscuit pastries. Balanced flavors.

More typical, woody, with strong notes of licorice and spices. A little too tannic.
