Whisky Live Paris 2025. Freshness on the nose, dried fruits, young woods, overripe fruits. Vegetal and even floral, this is not a dark and heavy profile. Impression confirmed on the palate, freshness, fresh and dried fruits, marked young woods. Also vegetal. Then the wood becomes overwhelming and dominates a bit too much in the finish. At the very end the fruits come back.

#5801 29.09.2025 Day three of the Whisky Live 2025, which this year looks better organized/arranged inside. A pretty decent release with nice floral and wood notes mixing very well with the spices, chocolate and light sulfur notes.

👃 Wood, sweet spices, fresh, anise, licorice, pencil shavings, aroma of poached fruit (yellow and white), light star fruit, candied lemon, vanilla. 😋 Poached fruit (peach, pear, plum), light combawa, passion fruit, pink pepper, freshness of blond tobacco, dry vanilla, creamy flower honey, light star anise, dryness of chalk, Reims pink biscuit pastries. Balanced flavors.

Silver Seal – Guyana 2002 – 58.3% Same observation as with Decadent Drinks: few rums at their stand this year, except this Port Mourant 2002, fully aged under the tropical climate of Guyana. The nose offers beautiful floral, spicy and woody notes. On the palate, a slight sulfur touch slightly dulls the whole, placing it below the Decadent Drinks blend, but it remains a nice tasting nonetheless.
