#5895 25.10 2025 Tasted at the Whisky & Rom Festival in Copenhagen 2025. Pretty good release, but I would have loved a longer tropical aging. Fruity with light marzipan and light wood. The palate is spice/peppery with fruits and light oilyness to it. The finish is medium long and fresh wit light butts and marzipan to it. Needs to rest to really open up.

I quite like the really high-proof Australians. I still have to rate the Bottleshop as well. The nose is very fruity, but also floral and herbal. On the palate, also fruity and vegetal, but somehow also dry and clear, you can definitely notice the alcohol, but it's still well integrated. Top rum.

Aging in Belize barrels added a ton of chocolate. I would never have guessed Australia, for me clearly and distinctly Belize.
