Glas 10 min. stehen gelassen. Nase: dunkle Schokolade, Vanille, leicht holzig und rauchig. Wenig mit getrocknete Feigen. Gaumen: Runder geschmeidiger Auftakt. Wird aber sehr opulent. Zartes Zuckerrohr - Aroma, gerösteter Kaffee und Haselnuss mit weichem anklängen von Tanninen. Sehr vollmundig. Abgang: Langanhaltend, vielschichtig und sehr geschmeidig. Ein wenig rauchig mit Zitronenschale zum Abschluss. Leeres Glas: Schokolade und Holz. von den 62.5 % merkt man weder in der Nase noch am Gaumen etwas. Hervorragende Kreation verleitet zum nachschenken

Le Simon is Martinique's ghostwriter. It is the island's most technologically advanced distillery, yet it sells no rum under its own name, runs no public tours, and ages nothing on site. Instead it distils two of the most beloved names in Martinique agricole, HSE and, until recently, Clement, on stills moved here from their original homes. What you taste as HSE is, in fact, Le Simon.
