Surprisingly sweet... seems almost sugary, the sherry ageing is already very clearly recognizable here. All in all, a very relaxed rum that is quickly accessible and fun to drink.

Very fruity nose. Despite the sherry storage, I perceive a slight stickiness as with uitvlugt. I like it very much. Still nice body for the 46%!

26.10.2019 Friendly get together with a few new faces. Notes Very dark in colour. Nose Light, complex, wood, light roasted, faint smoke, nutts, citrus, light sugarcane, plum. Palate Oily, light, complex, wood, light roasted, naturally sweet, citrus, light grass, plum, light medicinal. Finish Medium to long, wood, fruits, light medicinal, oily, light licorice.

Discovered this very old and overpriced Demerara at the GRF. Nice caramelized citrus notes, cask and sweetness. Very mild on the palate, slightly oily, tea and roasted cocoa. Finish dry, woody and black tea. Nice thing despite only 46%, but for the price not for me anyway😅

A very lovely nosem that has raisin and karamell, unfortunately this sample tasted completely off. I fear that sample was taken down by oxidation, therefore no scoring...
