#5846 11.10.2025 Visiting the Whisky Live Hamburg 2025 event. It was the first of its kind and went off pretty well. They still have to learn a lot about running an event like this. People were allowed to bring backpacks and even cabin bags to the event and that is a problem in my mind. This was the best of the new FRC releases. A nice rum with light ester, olives, citrus and a light smoky touch. There is also a hint of vegetal and medicinal notes in the profile.

Beim kurzen Sampletausch mit DomM die letzten paar Tropfen aus der Flasche probiert. Für mich eine positive Überraschung. Hatte mir nicht viel von dieser Abfüllung erwartet. Wäre schön wenn ein wenig mehr für mich geblieben wäre, hätte den gerne als Mixer ausprobiert.

Dünn und der Geruch von Umkleidekabine oder wie meine Frau sagt „Kinderfüssen“. Hier bin ich gar nicht wirklich warm geworden. Schwächste Abfüllung dieser Serie und eines der enttäuschenden Releases der Whisky Live 2025 in Hamburg

Flensburg Rum Company Awakening Series - Le Galion Ja, der Galion gefällt mir gut. Klebstoff, Lösungsmittel, Olive und dann megafruchtig, vergoren, mit Erdbeere. Pur sehr interessant, es ist aber noch genug da um den als Mixer zu testen.

This is exactly the type of rum that I usually don't like but here is something I can't really put my finger on and that makes it all work for me, especially on the nose.
