Tasting at bottle opening, 01-11-25. 👃 Big heavy woody, spicy, vanilla, cocoa. Flowing caramel, concentrated, buttery. I also find roasted nuts. The nose evolves towards a herbaceous aspect, slight freshness of garden mint and licorice stick. Also black fruits on the berries, dehydrated, a side that reminds me of certain TDLs, thanks to the atypical finish. 😋 Warm, comforting, roasted woody. The same flavors on the palate as the aromas of the nose suggested. The caramel evolves towards burnt dried fruit juices, barley sugar candies. Bitter dark chocolate, nuts, coffee on the grain, cooked vanilla. It's very gourmand! Excellent integration of the alcohol! The amateur friends were impressed when they discovered the ABV. Very good drinkability. ⛳ Long for a Ron, warm, caramelized, licorice, vanilla, the wood gives all it has. Bitterness of the nut and freshness of the mint in the background. 💡 The terroir of Nicaragua seems to me far above other rum-producing countries. In cask strength this gives very good concentrated and gourmand rums. The cigar pairing is obvious, with an Oliva Serie V for example. N.B.: +1 pt for the finish and +1 pt for the TDL finish which brings another dimension to this Ron. Very good 👌

Really nice this Ricci and Bar de l'ours collab Zero deception on the goods: the cocoa, dark chocolate from Nicaragua, we got it. Slightly fresh side, a bit tangy from the TDL, it's there too. Nice balance, nice indulgence, damn good juice 😋😁 Thanks guys 😘

#7273 02.09.2026 Relaxing with a few samples while watching a Bollywood movie on Amazon prime. This is a very good Nacaragua with an even better price tag in my mind. Intense profile with fruits, varnish, spice, roasted wood, caramel, nutts, honey, mint, herbs and a naturally sweet palate.
