#6096 21.12.2025 Enjoying a few more unaged from my box while blowing out some nice Psy Trance on the amplifier. Nose Fresh, fruity, light citrus, light olive, spice, faint caramel, faint honey, vegetal, sugarcane. Palate Oily, medium intense, spicy, fruity, pineapple, sugarcane, olive, light salt, citrus, light herbs. Finish Medium long, oily, light grass, light herbs, banana, Empty glass Sugarcane, banana, light mango, citrus, light floral, herbs. Price to quality is very good in my mind.

My first Clairin – and immediately an exciting experience. On the nose first fruity (forest berries), then with some air clearly more herbal and slightly funky. On the palate surprisingly creamy, with a fresh, slightly sour fruit that blends well with herbs and a subtle saltiness. Edgy yet harmonious. Not for every day and I mean that positively.

Drank in a great cocktail bar in Bremen. Nice fruity clairin, somewhat berry-like actually as another taster noted, a bit like a funky fruit brandy. But also salty, ester glue. Fun to drink. Very strong burning taste due to relatively high alcohol. But it fits, doesn’t stand out.

Read full review ›Sajous is probably the best known among the clairins and also the most appreciated. I confirm. I've tried several batches and, each with its own peculiarities, they confirm a good nose and palate. If you try it in a daiquiri, you'll be amazed. Try it to believe it. Approved.
